2007 Grand Cherokee Glow Plugs
New to the site but seems like some great info here.
My Problem: Glow Plugs/Cold Start
For a little bit now my Jeep Diesel has been having a tough time starting in temps around freezing. The block heater has been working but it's time to fix it.
When scanned it shows P0760 - Module, P0676-1, and P0671-6 Pd.
So I have a new module and new glow plugs ready to install my question is around which glow plugs to replace. The codes say that all are faulty but could that simply be the result of a bad Glow Plug Module? I have heard that it is rare to have all plugs out and if that is the case could someone let me know how I'm still able to start when it is warm?
I'm off to the store for some penetrating fluid and and Ohmmeter to test the plugs individually but thought I would see if anyone had an input before attempting to remove all plugs (as I hear they are prone to breaking).
Also, if I do bust a glow plug, will I be able to start the Jeep or is that a tow?
Thanks Guys, Happy New Year,
