I'm bummed. Finally turned Autocomfort Off

I ended up having to shut Auto Comfort off.

Shutting Seat and Wheel off 6-8 times a day, once the truck is fully warmed up is annoying.

Where the feature saves me from manually turning it on Once or Twice a day.

It doesn't really work as added convenience.

Jeep, could you PLEASE make it a little smarter? And weigh in, inside cabin temp or disable it on the next start, if it was manually turned off say within the last hour?

At this point I wish it only applied to Remote Start. That would be better than it is now. As it is implemented now, I have to shut it off.

I hear you...but no more annoying than having to turn the climate system back on when entering the vehicle (drivers door) after a remote start. Who's dumb idea was that at Chrysler?

:slapfight:

Personally I don't really have a problem with the Auto Comfort setting since most days I only start my vehicle twice a day...at least 8 or more hours apart. I do wish though I could set the drivers seat heat in Auto Comfort at low instead of high since after 5 minutes or so I have to do it manually because my ass gets cooked!

I sure did, thanks.

The problem is I can't find a dealership in my area (including where I bought it) that will download these fixes.

One of the reasons I will be trading in my 2014 GC Limited in the Fall...poor customer service.

There must be more to your story... Did you open a claim directly with Chrysler corporate?

There usually is. Either the update was already done, the vehicle didn't qualify for the update, or the dealers decided it's best to let some customers go.

In my case the answer is no. The dealership lied to me. FYI I took delivery of my ordered 2014 GC Limited V6 4x4 April 21st, 2013. I waited 7 weeks for it, so I'm estimating a build date of early March.

The long and short of things was I was told my vehicle had all the updates it needed (supposedly the dealership ran my VIN number in their computer that I told them over the phone), even though the TSBs I brought up at the time had dates listed a month or more after. And as for the TSB for the radio reflash, they told me they were waiting for the CD to arrive since their computer kept crashing trying to perform it on other vehicles because the file was too large.

And as proof the dealership lied to me, TSB 24-002-13 dated Sep 05, which the dealership said I already have...in fact I do not since the climate system still turns off after remote starting the vehicle when I open the drivers door.

I've been more than patient with these jokers where I bought my 2014 GC Limited from, and very soon I will be giving them their last chance to fix everything before I file an official complaint with Chrysler.

Here is the list of TSBs/recalls I will be asking for them to fix:

24-002-13 (HVAC) Sep 05, 2013

08-089-13 (Poor Satellite Reception) Dec 03, 2013

08-049-13 REV. G (Radio Date) Dec 13, 2013 (currently I'm on version 13.19)

21-007-13 REV. C (Transmission) Dec 18, 2013 Version "D" now? The last tranny reflash I had was in September

Safety Recall (N58 / NHTSA 13V-483) Received in December, 2013

Screw them. Open the case now in the manner that your jeeps not performing as expected (which it's not) v. The dealer sucks. Jeep will contact them to let them know and at that point you more or less have Jeep guys troubleshooting and telling them what to do then the techs at that dealer. They keep the case open and are in contact with you until all is satisfactory.

Doesn't take long to get the process going.

I took your advice and called Chrysler this morning...got a case number, and a regional manager will be calling me back on Monday supposedly.

Thank you.

You may already be doing this so disregard if you are but in my experience dealers don't like people coming in and saying complete this TSB on my jeep. Go in describing the problem you are having and ask them to fix the problem and maybe throw on the end that there is a TSB out there for it. Playing their little game that way it works better than just stating load these TSBs. My dealer told me once that requesting a TSB load instead of a requesting a problem fix you will be charged for. So try playing the stupid game, hope that helps
