How To Start Car With Key And Cabin Filter?

'14 Limited JGC.

So what happens when the keyfob is dead. How do you start the car with the key?

Also, is there a cabin filter on these vehicles? If so, where is it located at?

I believe key has NFC so you need to touch the START with it and it should start even with dead fob's battery.

On 2011 - 2013 models you could pop the button and use the key but not on 2014 anymore.

You should have this little book referred to as an "Owner's Manual".
Inside that you will find a vast array of information, including the answer to your two questions.

I don't need an owner's manual. I am entitled to have others look things up for me. I'm busy watching Judge Judy. :slapfight:

I knew it was only a matter of time before you got here Bill. So I decided to be helpful quickly, in a bitchy manner, before your usual read the f#&kn owners manual comment.

Nice. I will miss doing my annual grease job though.

So we don't really have to do anything? Nothing to lube up.

Oil changes for pretty much the 1st 30K miles?

I heard that sidekick Byrd (that guy known to have one of the toughest jobs in show business) is the world's richest bailiff... he makes it look like it's a major effort just to walk 10 feet to hand the judge some papers!
