Update for RRO Lift and Tire fitment
I talked with a fellow Jeep owner that owns a 2013 Trailhawk and the question of what size tires I was running with the RRO lift kit. I have a 2011 Laredo E with the load leveling rear shocks, full undercarriage skid plate and tow package, and front tow hooks. I added a 1/4" (.25) flat spacer plate on top of the RRO front strut top spacer and cut the rear to 3/4" (.75). I added a 1 1/2" (.1.50) wheel spacer and am currently running a 285x65-17 (31.8") Yokohama Geolander AT-S on the stock rim. They fit w/o any interference or contact within the fenderwell. So for all the tire question's The RRO kit with 1 1/2" wheel spacers will fit a tire of 32"-33" inches of "total circumference". The equivalent metric tire is a 285x65-17 , 285x70-17etc.... Use a tire size conversion chart as different manufacturer's tires vary by tire of the same listed tire. If going above a 32" diameter I would suggest that you pinch the inner pinch weld seam behind the felt linner and bend it over for additional clearance under suspension flex. This is easily (took me about 15 minutes) done with a small grinder by making releif cuts between the welds and bending the seam over. Get the factory push pin retainers for the rocker trim and fender liner from your local auto parts or dealer, you will break them getting them out.
Re: Update for RRO Lift and Tire fitment
Great info, thanks. Im planning on going with 33" when I put the spacer kit on.
