Is this a good deal? 2012 Jeep Overland (Carmax Nevada)

I was at Carmax in Nevada over the weekend. They received a 2012 Overland with 33K miles. Additional features: ACC, Hemi, Quadra-lift (lowers with the parking exit), 4wd..etc (it's not summit). The sales associate said they are going to list it for $34,998. I believe the OTD cost will be around $37500.

Is this a good deal?

I paid under $44K +T/T for a brand new MY12 Summit when I bought it in July 2012. So I'm wondering how you get to $37.5K from $34,998...

BTW, the QL does not automatically lower to parking level. You must push a button.

In Florida you have to pay state sales tax of 6% (plus any applicable county taxes) on vehicle purchases - so that would be at least $2,100 on a $35k vehicle bring OTD price to $37,100 before tag, title, and other fees. Not sure what Nevada's tax situation is but $37,500 seems reasonable to me.

Yes, it actually does if you select that function from the EVIC. I hate it on mine and disabled it.

Correct if the vehicle is $35K then you multiply by the tax rate and add in all the other costs.

I guess what I"m asking is $35K for an overland sound like a good deal? Anything I should consider.

In August, I paid 36 for my '12 Overland with probably the same equipment as yours with 9500 miles on it

Is it a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned)? 4x4 correct? (Did they have make a 2x4 Overland model?)
If your interested, go back and let them know but not at $35K and ask them what they can do on that price. Wait for their response, even if it's just like $500 less. Then tell them you were thinking more like $32.5K-$33K since it's got above average mileage and it is 2 years old now. You can always come up on your price!
Heck, there's probably several new '13 models still sitting on dealer lots that you could get for under $40K now. Dealers want to move old (last year's) inventory.

Just my 2 cents...

There is an "Easy Entry/Exit" seat option (which I hate with a passion and have disabled), but no option for the QL system to lower the vehicle to park mode automatically on my MY12 Summit. I believe that feature was added in MY14. (I also hate the tilt mirror in reverse function, too, and have that disabled)
