Part # for rear brow Bracket??...

So was doing an inspection of my 2012 WK2 Overland and noticed that the rear brow seemed to be pulling away from the tailgate on the driver's-side near the tail lamp. Upon closer inspection (that included pulling the rear brow cover off), I found that there are 2 bolts (1 on left & 1 on right) that help hold the bracket onto the tailgate...and the black bracket was trying to separate from the bolt (plastic is cracked around bolt, as if it was torqued too much at the factory).

So, looks like I need a replacement bracket...only problem is, I can't find a Part# by which to order one...the dealer could not find a Part# either, even after calling engineering for help.

That being said...does anybody out there know the Part# for this plastic bracket??

TIA :)

I have an extra chrome brow I can sell you. Send me a pm if you're interested and we can work something out.

Re: Part # for rear brow Bracket??...

@jgc4ever...Thanks, but I do not need a new Brow...what I need is a new Bracket that the Brow attaches to (the Black plastic behind the Brow).

@Scott...if I understand you correctly, you are implying that I have to buy a new Brow from dealer as it will include a new Bracket as well, as part of the replacement kit??

...Let me know

If the replacement Bracket comes with a new Brow from Jeep dealer, and anyone has a new Bracket leftover from the kit (that is for a 2012 Overland w/Rear Cam)...let me know & we can work something out (if cheaper than dealer)...Thanks!!

Re: Part # for rear brow Bracket??...

Scott...do the brackets come with new cameras as well, or just a place for mounting the existing camera?? I ask, due to the fact that I don't need another camera, just a new Bracket that is ready to accept my existing camera. I can transfer all the other existing parts to a new Bracket, I just need a Bracket that is ready to be used as a transplant.

Thanks

Re: Part # for rear brow Bracket??...

Here's some OEM rear brow part numbers, these include the bracket that mounts to the tailgate and the painted brows..... That the only way Jeep sells them. The XAC sales code just means the bracket has a hole for a backup camera if your WK2 is equipped that way.

The rear "Trailhawk edtion" (sales code MJF) License Plate Brows;

**"Liftgate Handle" or rear brow {MFJ} Production Code, Mineral Gray
{GX4, Keyless Enter & Go} {XAC Rear Backup Camera}

Mopar part # 5LL22CDMAA MSRP $242.00 Dealer Cost $145.00

The rear "Altitude Edition" (sales code AHG) License Plate Brows;

**5LL22AXRAA, MSRP $242.00 Cost $145.00 PXR paint code (Brilliant Black) w/XAC back-up camera sales code

**5LL22DX8AA, MSRP $242.00 Cost $145.00 "Gloss Black" PX8 paint code w/XAC back-up camera sales code

**1ZV27AXRAA, MSRP $207.00 Cost $124.00 PXR paint code (Brilliant Black) without back-up camera, (No hole!)

**1ZV27DX8AA MSRP $214.00 Cost $126.00 "Gloss Black" PX8 paint code without back-up camera.

I'm not sure if the "regular" chrome, non painted brows, are cheaper or what OEM parts #'s for them would be??

The bracket/brows I don't think come with the camera. ...just a cutout

Re: Part # for rear brow Bracket??...

I think what you refer to is sold as all one piece. I have the brow with bracket with camera-cutout.
