uConnect Update Refuses to Run
 
2014 Dodge Durango Citadel
uConnect Update refuses to run.
It won't even download.

I go to the website for uConnect Updates, hoping to see that the Via Mobile options have been finally added to my dash interface.
It's located here: https://rsur.extra.chrysler.com/rsur/Uconnect.do

Enter my VIN.
It says I do qualify for the latest Update.

Then you are asked to install their Akamai NetSession untility on your PC. This supposedly works fine.

Then you are told the Download will proceed within the Browser.
This never happens.

Their second link is titled "Download the Update Software" -- but this only opens a Tutorial, and brings you right back to the previous Akamai NetSession Installer download.

Any ideas?
All Windows Firewalls, protection, anti-virus, Windows / Internet Explorer / Firefox mumbo-jumbo is turned off.
Nothing works. :mad:

Google "Akamai NetSessions Problems".

There are instructions out there that will remedy your problem. I didn't save the link I used, just followed the instructions for IE, and it worked.

The problem isn't with the Chrysler software, but with the installer they chose to use.

If you become a supporting member here, you can download the software from the VIP section, without using the installer.

Okay. I signed on as a Supporter. I guess I'll need to wait until I'm verified and then try accessing the VIP lounge. Oops! Already Verified! Thanks, guys!
