Nitto Terra/Cooper Zeon/Bridgestone Dueler 275/55/20

Trying to make a decision on which tire to choose. Since it's a tight fit on the GC does anyone know if any of these tires run small compared to other 275/55/20. The manuf websites have them listed the same size. I figure any bit will help.

If you want tires that run small you are probably looking for a cheaper brand that is skimping on tread width or rubber in general. I doubt that is what you want. Go to a real tire store. You may be better off going to a smaller size like a 255 but with a higher cross section to make u the circumferance difference

Thanks for the input. I realize what you saying, but every little 10th of inch might help considering the 277/55 is a tight fit. So if one AT tire is actually 31.6" and another 31.9" that would be valuable info. Haven't seen too many tiires in the 255 20" size.

What's wrong with 275/55/20. Tight fit, yes. Does it fit, yes. Does it rub the upper bolt. No. Rub at full lock. No. I've been running it for 17k miles on my 18k mile jeep and best choice I ever made. Looks bigger, better, meaner and more rim protection.

I guess I'm still a little nervous about the tight fit. I forget do you have a lift on yours? I guess I'm mostly concerned if off road and there is some bounce if they will rub without a lift.

No lift and that upper control arm bolt moves up and down as the suspension moved. Thus it's stationary

Do you go off road, beach, trails. How is it over speedbumps?

Use this tire calculator...so you know the exact measurements...I think they would fit. Just plug in your tire size and then compare to stock for diameter and width...you're correct all tires in the same tire size aren't of equal size and can run a little small or large.

Thanks for the link! So if I plug in the two tires I'm considering vs the oem 20" it seems like the 285/50 fit better and are within acceptable ranges for suspension, fender and wheelwell, although it does put it 0.2" closer to brakes. Also the speedo will be closer to OEM. First one is 275/55/20 next is 285/50/20.
