2014 Headlamps in a 2012...

10 Attachment(s)
Sad to say, the 14' lamp will not fit the 11-13.

All the attachment points are the same.

Where the grille and corner of the light meet, there is about a 3/4in gap. However the headlamp looks good all around. I didn't expect a perfect fit, but I also did not expect it to be this much off.

I took plenty of pics. Sorry to report the bad news!!

Been following your other post, really appreciate your hard work!!

The gap looks like an easy fix, guess it comes down to the harness...

There is a guy locally selling a set of 2014 led headlghts, I will start trying to lowball and hope that a harness can be created...

If a harness were created, would it matter if the gc was a halogen or hid??

Jeep_addicted is the guy to ask about that. I can do visual stuff not electrical lol.

The gap really isn't that bad someone can come up with a filler.

What if you got a new front bumper fascia?

We could probably switch the 11-13 fascia with the 14 for the headlights. I don't know if any any attachment points were Changed on the 14's frame. I know the side points would be the same because of the way it attaches by the sides of headlight where it meets the wheel well. The only thing now that could be different is the attachment points of the grille since the 14' grill was shortened.

The 11-13 has two bolt on points for where the grill attaches to the frame. I don't know if these two attachment points have been moved up to accommodate the 14's bolts. Since the 12's grille is wider than the 14's this may have changed.

We'd need someone from the inside to confirm this or if someone is doing the 11-13 to the 14' conversion it could help.

How about cutting those lights open and taking the LED stuff out, and placing it into a 11-13 headlight "body"

My personal opinion is, I don't think that would look good. But it may work. I'm not mechanical enough to figure out how to do that LOL.

I think a "gap filler" would be the easiest choice. You're talking buying two headlamps (even used they ain't cheap!) and busting them apart for something that may be permanently attached.

Cool thought though.
