Not sure, if this has been discussed here before this... Which is better, interms of sound and power increase?

X pipe will have a better scavenging effect and wil produce more power over a h pipe. An x pipe will be slightly mellow in sound where as a h pipe will sound a little harsh.

Interesting.. Coz, American Racing Headers has just made changes to their catback by switching from X-pipe to H-pipe design.

According to them, it has a deeper tone and decreased cabin drone. Power wise, there is a slight increase in low end torque over the X.

that may be them, but a lot of big name brands run x over h. Borla, Magnaflow, Stainless Works, Solo Performance, heck even Flowmaster has systems with an x.

Have not decided yet.. It's either ARH, Stainless Works or Meisterschaft full catback.

I have heared both stainless works and meisterchraft, both sound boss but i cant justify spending 3k on the meisterchraft (GTHaus). so my money would be on the stainless works...but thats just me
