2006 grand cherokee shocks

I currently have a stock 2006 Laredo 3.7L. I bought a 2 inch daystar lift not to log ago but I haven't put it on due to the snow ( don't want to work on a wet vehicle). I'm getting a 1.5 inch spacer for when I get new tires. It has 124,500 miles. It's obviously time for new shocks and whatnot. My question is, what are the best kind of shocks I can put on it? I want something that will boost it an extra inch or so with the 2 inch lift so I would have around 3inches.

You'll get another inch at least from installing Monroe LL's in the rear. I'm not sure you can additionally raise the front of the vehicle more without the use of more body or suspension lift components though.

The Rancho series from Monroe are more oriented to Jeeps than the Monroe models.
Been a while so don't recall if you can use the standard fittings for up to 3" lift or not, but it is really easy.

The Rancho adjustables are very nice, if a bit on the firm side even at softest settings.

If you prefer to let the shock do it, try the Edelbrock IAS shocks, but they won't take the pounding a Rancho 9000 series will.
