Radio Problem

Hello,

Yesterday my 8.4 started to cut in and out while on the satellite radio. The dealership cant get me in till March and i'm driving to Fl on Wednesday. Is there a way to reset the whole uconnect and see if this helps

Greetings,

In any event, call Jeep Customer service and let them know how the dealer is tarnishing the image.

Is their another dealer around? You could try East Hills Dodge, Jeep in Nassau County. If not, ask JEEP if their is a dealership in your route that can provide you with an inspection to see if a quick flash of the computer might help or check the wiring.

Safe trip and Best for now.:)

Re: Radio Problem

The antenna for the satellite radio is horrible. I lose signal sometimes when a truck goes by. If you are or were around buildings, trees, mountains and anything that is higher than your GC it is a potential source for you signal dropping out.

I have read that some of the older models had antenna's that are even worse than the one I have and my reception is just fair.

TSB indicates WK on or before Nov 9th 2013.
Mine isn't really that bad, as in it wouldn't be enough to be the only reason I'd
take it in by a long shot. But, it is accumulating a few TSBs so one of these years...
