I previously owned a Santa Fe with a dual mass flywheel which was overheated and damaged while reversing my small boat uphill on a slope of about 10 degrees. Can anyone tell me if I risk doing the same damage using the low range on my 2014 jeep grand cherokee reversing a caravan of 2 tonne up the same slope with the ZF gearbox. Is there anyone out there that regularly reverses heavy loads uphill.
I reverse my boat up a hump that reaches 20+ degrees. No probs so far and does it with greater ease than my previous 100 series cruiser. I use low range, but it is on grass.
