DIY Springs?

Hey guys,

I just picked up some Eibachs for my 14 and looking to self-install. I searched but could not locate instructions for the WK2. Is there a DIY write up lurking about? Thanks!

Brian

Save yourself lots and lots of problems and take it to the dealer to have them installed!

You in the least need a lift and air tools. There are sensor wires and the such that you need to be very careful with in the front and rear. Take your time and unclip the sensors and shocks wires out of the way. be gentle with them....treat them like glass. Removing the springs is no different than any other SUV. You will need a spring compressor for the front spring removal and install.

Scott,
How complicated do you think that doing just the rears would be with access to a lift and tools? Do you know of any DIY threads? I have been looking.

Nothing to it, just like any other suspension job. Had my local performance shop install RM Mids for $350 in about 3 hours.

Still haven't done mine. Hopefully soon. They just put the "JEEP" banner up at the FIAT dealer down the road. the nearest JEEP dealership os over an hour away so hopefully the Fiat guys can do the springs, and my recalls.

Vipertoad: Any pics?

any mechanic with a lift can do the install...especially if thye have alldata. If any of you are near me in KY I have a guy that charges $200 and takes him less than 2 hours! The rear is basically 3 bolts after removing wheels and caliper
