Mud Guards, Floor Mats, and Cargo Area Liner Mods

Just thought I'd post some pics of the mods I did today. Since I am constantly carrying stuff in my car, a rear area liner was a must have. Jeep doesn't offer one so I bought one from Acura for an '07 MDX, which I have in the wife's drive. I had a Honda liner in my Pilot for 12yrs. and it never failed me. The rear area looked as new as the day I bought it when I sold it. It is a heavy duty canvas material but is very malleable and waterproof. It did require some cutting and fitting but works really well. The sides are held in place with Velcro. My next mod was to replace the carpeted floor mats with Husky X-act Contour Liners for the front and rear seats. They are rubber, soft, flexible and fit perfectly. The last item was to install mud guards. I ordered the Husky front(58101) and rear(59101) guards which were black. Since my GC has no black trim and is white, I had them painted by a local body shop. Cost for painting was $160. Not bad for how they came out. Well, not very exciting but very practicable.

Looks great. Mud guards came out awesome!
I was debating between the Jeep or Husky ones, but seeing them on your Jeep just made up my mind.

Thanks for sharing.

It's probably too late now but CanvasBack makes great liners.
We've used them in several of our cars and it keeps our cargo area free of dirt and dog hairs.
Just a quick vacuum and wipe down and it looks good as new.

Thanks guy's. I did see the Canvas Back but I needed the sides protected and also the tops and headrests on the back set protected. I'm always throwing long items in there and the liner really covers the whole area.

FYI ....They offer the sides for a small fee and I've heard they'll customize to your needs.

That would be nice to have a customized liner. Maybe I'll give them a call. Thanks.
