Check engine light is on =[

as soon as ther check engine light went on... i drove to the shop that i always go to, to check what is the problem..the guy pluged in the computer and checked it.. it said cylinder 2 and 5 misfire.. he told me that its the ignition coil.. i had a similar problem last year.. but i had cylinder 1 and 4 misfire.. and when i replaced the ignition coil.. it was working fine.. im probably going to go to the shop where they changed my ignition coil..and talk to them..because it hasnt been a year since i replaced it..and it went out.. does anybody know what do ingnition coils cost(preferably new, but used/in working condition will do)..last time i changed it..it cost me 190$

Go on eBay. If there isn't any go to a junk yard. Definetely go to the shop you went to last. They should replace it if it hasn't been more than a year.

you might want to check to see if your engine lines(or whatever it is) is packed with carbon. In my civic a few years ago I had a cylinder 2 misfire and they replaced something on it and it kept misfiring so I had to go back and they finally found it was packed with carbon and that fixed it.

yea it was the egr valve they replaced and it was still misfiring. They then checked the egr passages which were packed with carbon and had to be cleaned out which fixed it.

Are you running an aftermarket camshaft?
