Best equalizer settings ?

Hey guys,

What Equalizer settings provide the best audio experience in the '14 SRT with Harman Kardon 19 speakers option ?

I mainly listen to rap/hiphop but also listen to other genres.

I personally use : 0 Bass | +2 Mid | +4 Treble | Surround ON

.. Prefer sharper bass than just a rumble.

Was just wondering what your settings are on, maybe I'm missing a better configuration :D

That is way to much treble for my liking. That would drive me insane. I mainly listen to rock though.

+3 Base | +2 Mid | 0 Treble | Surround ON

Yeah I need that to listen to the lyrics clearly since heavier bass is usually more audible.

Your ears so it only matters what you like.
That surround on though is just nasty. But if you like it, more power to you.

Why do you say so ? I feel that surround brings out the small details in songs that are otherwise covered by the bass. Why do you turn it off ?

I turn it off because quite frankly, like most faux surround settings, it sounds like shit to me. The dumb thing here is that it is applying a surround DSP to a system that actually has surround speakers. That is mighty moronic.

Again, they're your ears, so whatever makes you happy.
