Via Mobile "Function Not Available" message
I just realized this was posted on the mods section. it should be in the troubleshooting section.
What's with the "Function Not Available" message when you try to do a remote start or other remote function from a smart phone using the Via Mobile app?
Complete message is "Function Not Available Your vehicle is not accepting requests at this time. Please try again later."
Anyone know if this a network or cellphone problem?
I'm using an iphone and have a '14 Cherokee. Is it safe to assume the via mobile app works the same for any vehicle with remote start?
I thought I was the only 1!!
Been dealing with this issue since 12/22. Nobody is able to resolve. AlReady replaced the radio. Next I believe is antenna. But not sure I want them to do that. Please log the case with Uconnect as they don't know of others with the issue.
Supposedly the truck is 'going on and off of the network' for no reason at all. I have a 14 GC doesn't work with iphone4 or 5s. Worked flawlessly with prior GC

Uconnect techs called me today. They said they have done all the trouble shooting and investigating on their end and the only thing left to do be done is go back to the dealer and have them troubleshoot more. More than likely, it will have to have the antenna replaced since it keeps going on and off the the network intermittently.
Not sure how involved this is or what it entails, so not sure if I want to get it fixed @ this point.
