Could be released later this year???

From Motor Trend:
After entertaining the idea of a sub-Renegade Jeep, Manley also let some details slip on the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The full-size SUV will seat up to seven people, and will be bigger than the old Jeep Commander. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is expected to share its stretched chassis with the Dodge Durango, and will likely debut later this year.

I just posted about this about 3-4 days ago in the waggy forums. I was told the 2017 GC would be pushed back to a sept. debut as usual and the waggy fast tracked. Manly wants it out there NOW!

Is it expected to be zooted up even better than the GC?

I liked the concept of the old Commander, but it just didn't seem to understand the concepts of a premium Jeep--which I'd have to argue it wasn't.

It will make the commander look like a fiat. It will be the luxury jeep for the masses. The commander was just an extended wk.

One could argue "extended"...

Commander was more of an experiment than anything. It proved that JNAP could build more than a Grand Cherokee...
