2011 Jeep GC Fuel Pump
Ok, to get this out of the way, yup, stupid mistake, but one night I got home around 10:00 p.m., closed the garage and went to bed. Walked back out to the garage at 8:00 a.m. the next morning and to my surprise, the Jeep was still running. Fortunately, no Co2 issues in the house. That said, I shut the car off and tried starting it 4 hours later. Just kept turning over but wouldn't fire.

After 2 days, the Jeep dealer replaced some fuses and needed to order a fuel pump and fuel line to replace.

Does that make sense to you all? I guess I don't understand the correlation between leaving it running and the fuel pump/line going bad.

Which raised another concern of mine, leaving the vehicle for an extended period of time, without the key in the area, left it running. I guess they planned that? When you remote start, it only runs for about 15 minutes, but leaving the vehicle keeps it running till fuel is gone.

Ok, 2 issues, thoughts?

Re: 2011 Jeep GC Fuel Pump
you left the car running with no air circulation and no sloshing of the gasoline, So your pump probably overheated and possible sucked some crap into the lines.
