Steering drift question again......

So since fitting my new tyres 6 months/ 5000 miles ago I've had a slight pull to the left on the steering. Not done anything about it over winter apart from reading up on possible causes.
This Saturday I do want to crawl under the jeep and check out the suspension and steering components as best I can, rotate the tyres and get the alignment done again. It was spot on after the tyres were fitted.
I have noticed a slight feathering on the outside of my front left, kerb side, tyre. Some say this may be too much toe in, but it was on the money when checked.
However we do have roundabouts here in the uk which causes addition wear on this tyre for all cars I think.

Could this outer wear also point to something else ?

Lastly, how would you know know if you need a special off set ball joint as per the jeep technical bulletin 02 001 02 ? If the camber and toe are ok, then it's not required, it's something else ??

Thanks

Re: Steering drift question again......

The outer edges were terribly worn on the tires that were on my WJ when I got it. Talked to my dad who suggested it likely needed shock absorbers. Changed shocks and got new tires 25k miles ago and all is well. How old are your shocks?

Still on original shocks. 10 years / 75000 miles.
Another item to check at the weekend then.
Never thought worn shocks would effect the traciking tho, just make it a bit bouncey ?

Re: Steering drift question again......

The tire wear is likely related to the shocks. I replaced mine at 80k and noticed that it felt more stable and wandered less. As for the pull in the steering - How are ball joints, tie rod ends, and track bar bushings?
