A quick note - I hit the 20k mile mark last week and still loving my JGC Overland. No major problems (knock on wood), just some minor stuff.

I was in line for the diesel but still happy I pulled the trigger on the gas V6 3.6 instead. I do about 24k miles a year so glad I got the extra protection of the lifetime warranty.

I'm right behind you. Also had some minor stuff, and really happy with my choice of the 3.6 as well, and don't regret passing up on the CRD.

Just ahead of you, with the exact same vehicle as yours. 22K on my 1 year anniversay (April 18th)and couldn't be happier.

Few minor annoyances, but nothing serious enough to even think about going back to the dealer for.

7 year 120k mile warranty purchased, looking forward to many more years with it!

If you don't mind me asking, what were the minor issues???

(I am only at 10k miles now, so far, so good).

Good to hear people that you've had good luck with your 2014 Overlands..all early builds too? I had MANY issues with my early build (3/13) 2014 Limited that I traded it in for my new later build (12/21/13) 2014 Overland.

I only have 500 miles on my new Overland, and the only issues I've have are a sunroof that creaks at times when cold, and a radio that won't stay connected to my Android phone...it stays "paired", but every morning I have to get into "Settings" and manually connect it myself. Never had this issue on my 2014 Limited with the lesser 8.4A radio.

I have the tiniest rattle in my pano sunroof, but more of a squeak that a rattle. I'm insane when it comes to squeaks and rattles....so I bet 75% of people wouldn't even notice it. In overall interior quality and noise, the jeep is still many times better than the 07 Lexus IS350 it replaced.

I had that buzzing from the bracket under the dash, which I removed.

Few glitches in Uconnect that were 100% resolved with the 2 updates I did myself.

Couldn't have been any earlier. Went to the dealer the day the ordering banks opened. I think I placed my order at the very end of February, 2013

Mine was a late May '13 build.

Small things -

I also have the pano creak squeak noise but I really only hear it when the truck is cold, mostly just when I'm backing out of my driveway in the morning, when the body flexes a bit. Would be more annoying if it was all the time. I should still track it down but gets hard to find the time. Think I asked one time it was in for service and they found nothing.

Had mild version of trans clunk thing but that was totally fixed by software updates. Many thanks to all forum members here for putting out info on that.

Have the high pitch tuning fork noise but only hear it at low speeds with radio off which isn't very often. One member here tracked down a solution but that too falls into category of maybe some day when I get time kind of thing.

Do you at all regret going with the V6 instead of the Diesel or Hemi?

I have an early build (purchased April 13) that just hit 15k miles.

No major problems. Had the christmas tree dash once for about 30 minutes, dealer applied the recommended fix, no issues since.

I have an early build (03/13) Limited 4x4 and I've had some issues, but so far nothing that hasn't been fixed at the dealer. Issues have been as follows:

August 2013 - Evaporator core replaced (entire dash removed)

February 2014 - Radio reprogrammed (kept locking up)
- Trans reprogrammed (hard shift from 1st through 3rd)
- P/S Xenon Depot HID ballast replaced (worked fine when left it)
- D/S door handles replaced (peeling)
- Tires ordered (not at dealer - 20k miles on them and they're done)

Still happy with it, though. Has had some hiccups along the way, but as long as they don't persist, I'll be okay. If they start to become a recurring problem, then it may be a different story.

What??

Was it an alignment issue? How they hell did you go through them in 20k? I now have 23k on my stock Forteras and they have, well above 50% remaining.

I know it wasn't burnouts...you have the V6 :) (I have the V6 too)
