DaMitsuMan's Jeep

Well this is my second Jeep and am completely in love with it. I debated between the WK SRT and this and decided I liked the fit and finish of the Overland way better.

It is a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit with the Saddle interior and the 5.7L with the pano sunroof

Mods
FR 22 black wheels with 285/35/22 Nitto 555's
Brilliant black rear lift gate
Tinted front windows
Swapped Laredo fog light bezels and rear step surround
Plasti dipped grille, roof rails, side mirrors, and lower bumper.
Planning on getting the brilliant black grille but for now the plasti dip will be good enough.

Pics: sorry just a crappy cellphone.
These pics are in the park mode of the quadralift.

As you can tell with my past vehicles I am a fan of black.

Looks good! What size are those SRT reps they fit the car great. Did you plasti dip the grill? My only complaint is that hideous yellow and green plate... Bear Down! :D

Nice. See if you can have it painted I dig the black grill insert. What do you do in the winter? Put the other rims and tires on or keep those year round?

DaMitsuMan 04-06-2014 06:12 PM

I have the 20 inch chrome wheels with all seasons for winter, they do just fine for what I need.

That's cool. Especially after the winter we just had. Brutal! What part of WI are you in?

Just south of Green Bay by Appleton. But I do have a sister that lives in Bear country in Round Lake.

Nice. I have a summer home in Delavan close to lake Geneva

Nice, my dad grew up in Lake Geneva and I used to go down there about once a month when my grandparents were alive. Small world.

Looks good man. Any issues with the quadra lift suspension from running the 22x10s with the 285s?

DaMitsuMan 04-29-2014 07:14 AM

Thanks. No issues at all. No rubbing and I can go full turn in park mode. I am actually trying to pull the fuse to keep it in park mode all the time but in the 2011's it is proving difficult.
