Nice job eliminating (almost) all of the chrome. She looks very sharp.

Details on what you did & how?

Thanks! I still need to black out the mirrors, door handles, and driver/passenger GC emblems. The stock wheels are next up. All was blacked out using Plastidip.

Great job! Your JGC looks good.

Did you remove the individual pieces before plastidipping them, or did you just tape off / mask off around them while they were still on the truck?

Thanks!! As for the dip, I didn't take anything off just masked everything off.

looks awesome. Exactly what i want to do! hate those chrome handles and mirrors...should be the other-way around, painted on the higher trim line, chrome on the lower trim line...you would think painted handles cost more..

wonder if the white colored plastidip would match on the mirror covers....

Haha, yeah you would think it would be that way. On my last trip to the hardware store, I was tempted to buy the white and gloss cans to do the mirrors but decided not to. The only bad thing I can think of for painting the door handles is the wear it receives which may eventually peel off.

Attachment 39315 just did it with white plastidip. Matches pretty close. Just go get some and do it!
