Any opinions on Runflat tires

Any opinion, experiences. Good or bad ...

The ones that I am looking at are Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport RFT 255/50 R19.

runflats tend to ride a bit stiffer than other tires as they MUST have a stiff sidewall to handle the 'flat' situation.

Yes sir, I've noticed that as well. First chance I get, I'm replacing them whenever I get a tire that can't be fixed. Not worth the damn price per tire.

I switched out and went with 275/315 Nitto INVO's. Night and day difference!

I didn't like the stock GY RunFlats at all. Way too stiff. Running Toyo STII's in the 275/315 combo.

After riding in a few Jeeps that have switched away from run-flats I'm looking to switch away too. While the stiffer sidewall is great for handling, the ride difference more than makes up for it. Let's face it, you'll spend more time driving in a straight line casually than hard cornering on a road-course ;)
