2005 WK CRD strange Vibrations

Hi folks,
I'm Harald , new to the side, new to the WK CRD but an ols guy when it comes to off road, SUV's and wrenching...
I've bought a 2005 WK CRD a week ago, from a Jeep Chrsler dealer in Germany with a one year backup warranty....

When driving it over flat roads I sometimes feel a vibration in the drivetrain between 70kmh and about 100kmh. It feels as if you drive over a very rough road surface. That vibration comes and goes which is the reason that I didn't visit my dealer right away. After working in the car business for 20 and more years I know it's waisted time to visit them without a consistent problem.
So I try to inverstigate a little more on my own.

The vibration feels like an unbalanced driveshaft and the vibration stays also if I put it in N. What speaks against the driveshaft is that it happens only from time to time.
The other thing I hear is also a slight bump from the front suspension when I drive over some potholes... could be a worn bushing or such.

Is this something other WK drivers experienced??

Harald

Mopar is always notorious for their transmission but other than that it beats me ... as for the squeak the OEM shocks are POS and they need to go ... almost all the members here have switched to the bilsteins, some now are doing coil overs, some lifted, and a few are going with KONI

but majority is bilstein

Also WELCOME :D

to address that I like to go with the medium set of OME shocks and springs.
That will bring me up a little and so far I only heard good news from the OEM set.

I also think my IFS in the front sagged. I am used (from GM) to the downward angle (towards the tire, seen from the front) of the lower A-arm.
When I look at my WK I see a slight upward angle, also the driveshaft seems not to rest level with the ground it points a little bit upward towards the tire.
Other than that the GC has 80.000km on the clock (50kmls) and was never used off road viewed from its mint condition.

Harald
