2013 GC Rim Question

Hi, I have a 2013 Grand Cherokee Limited, that I upgraded with Lux Group II and upgraded to the 20" wheels.
I have an issue where one of my rims got scratched up, and I want to buy a new or used rim to replace it with, and then put my scratched rim on the spare tire.
I took a quick look online and noticed a website selling them, but they have 3 that all look the same (to me), but say different things.. So how do I know which rim/wheel I have, obviously I want to match the others..
The website showed 3 wheels, the description's were: Hyper Silver, High Polished, Chrome.. Even the picture of the chrome looks the same as the others, so Im guessing they just used the same pic for all 3 wheels, but what's the diff between Hyper Silver & High Polished? I looked on my original sale sticker and it just says 20 x 8 aluminum painted wheels.
Thanks, and also if anyone can point me in the right direction of where to purchase 1 rim that would be helpful.

Re: 2013 GC Rim Question

I do believe high polish is the summit version, not the overland version.

Try calling OE wheels LLC or look them up online

Just post a picture of your wheels here and we'll figure it out.

Re: 2013 GC Rim Question

Your spare uses an 18" steel wheel and the tire, itself, is a slightly different size, particularly in width. While you can shoe-horn a 20" wheel with the 265-50-20 tire into the spare compartment, the lid will not sit down all the way on top of it because the "regular" tire is thicker than the factory spare.

Those are the factory overlands, the high polish came on the overland summit edition up until the 14's came out.

Thanks for the info, that kinda sucks. It made sense for me to buy a new rim if I could use the old one for the spare, now Ill have to decide if I want to spend the money and have a useless rim.

Re: 2013 GC Rim Question

Trust me....I understand. I have a little "rash" on one of my Summit rims from catching a cast iron drain on a curb while on vacation. (said a whole bunch of bad words, both out loud and in my head!) But I've just decided to live with it. It's not really that noticeable unless one looks for it...and there are worse things, like the minor, but very visible damage to my passenger side rear door done in a parking lot at a train station. :(

Re: 2013 GC Rim Question

I just ordered a set of black overlands.. Coming from Laredo rims I have been lucky with no rash.. Do you think the rims are too big or stick out too far and are more exposed to curbs? Or is it just bad luck.. Nervous mervous here.. Lol
