cabin filter

What is the location of the cabin filter in the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited?

Behind the glove box. From the manual:

The A/C air filter is located in the fresh air inlet behind the glove box. Perform the following procedure to re- place the filter:
1. Open the glove compartment and remove all contents.
2. Push in on the sides of the glove compartment and lower the door.
3. Pivot the glove compartment downward.
4. Disengage the two retaining tabs that secure the filter cover to the HVAC housing, and remove the cover.
5. Remove the A/C air filter by pulling it straight out of the housing.
6. Install the A/C air filter with the arrow on the filter pointing toward the floor. When installing the filter cover, make sure the retaining tabs fully engage the cover.

Behind the glove box is a very common location for the cabin filter on many vehicles...

BTW, I ordered a replacement through Amazon that was $11 rather than two-to-three times that from a dealer.

I personally like the farm version with charcoal and baking soda. I assume there's a version out for the wk2. I've always used it in my old vehicles and I felt like it does help with odors.

That one is for a Durango, but close enough that their "does this fit" can take you to the correct ones for a grand cherky.

They seem to vary quite a bit in price and construction, with a Fram claiming to have both baking soda and activated carbon...

The Durango filter is identical. That's exactly the one I bought for my Summit....and the price was right! (and since we're Prime members, it shipped for free, too)

The price is right! And like Jim said, it fits. I just replaced mine a month ago.
