Cherokee Sport with Trailhawk rims?

We just bought a Cherokee Sport 4x4 and we're wondering if you can put the Trailhawk rims and tires on the Sport model? I know that they are a slightly bigger size, but I like the look of the Trailhawk rims and really need the versatility of the deeper tread on the off-road tires for the winter. And it would just look better than the steel rims and all season tires I have now...
Can it be done? Thoughts? Comments?
Thanks!

find an aftermarket alternative, factory wheels are always cost prohibitive. Unless you find some on craigslist. I would expect 1000 a wheel

heres some aftermarket ones

I've had 4 Cherokees over the last 20+ years and they always look better with a slightly larger tire on them. I'm curious to see how this generation will look. IMO, I think it'll work.

Mopar wants $500 each for the Trailhawk Rims. Some online places have them as low as $290. I found a set of MB ICON wheels that are the same size for $109 each at Discount Tire.

They will probalby fit your Sport, but I also think you may experience some slight rubbing while turning and on big bumps.

Ok sounds good I'll look at some of those options. Thanks everyone for the help!

They had to put fender flairs on the TH to make it work.

Wonder what the biggest tire would fit the Cherokee ?
Probably the Trailhawk would be the best to try them... because it comes with the 1" 'lift'.
Just curious. (I'm a fan of the bigger more aggressive tires too)

Remember the TH sits as taller. The 4x4 versions of the Latitude and Limited and TH with AD II have a small lift. That allows larger tires.

...but not the wider fender flairs of the TH.

Is the fender flair difference why the TH's 17" wheels are not offered as an option on the Limited when ordering the off-road suspension package?
