Tried putting bigger tires on the trailhawk.

I tested a set of 265/70/17 toyo at2 LT tires, the back tires were fine, but in the front it rubbed on the back side of the fender liner and was millimetres away from the front of the liner. Safe to say I'll probably just stick to me stocks. Sorry this was the only photo I got.Attachment 39243

Thanks for the info, I figured this much was true considering the oem's were a close fit. However it would have been a good look if they did fit.

Trim a little off the liners perhaps ?

That's what I was thinking, but where it's rubbing is right by the access panel to the headlights. So trimming it up would cause rocks, mud, water etc to get in there.

Maybe a 35mm offset wheel would give you the clearance you need. Stock wheels are 42mm so a 35mm would be a little shallower.

You can also go to 245/70/17's which is a tad bigger than the stock tires. From what I hear they fit with zero rubbing.

How about a 255 70 17? A little bit wider and around a half inch taller. Think they would clear even with suspension flex?
