Due to high demand of local customers not wanting to pay for shipping because so close to location of inventory, I am now accepting pickups. These customers must not use the shopping cart on the JeepEcoDieselfix.com site. Simply send me an email (jeepecodieselfix@gmail.com) requesting a def plate kit and specify for pickup. Once payment is confirmed, please print and bring to Creative Fab works (after you scheduled with Bryin for pick up)

Another update info as of 3/4/2015 2:57 pacific time

Just got back from dealer and confirmed that Jeep came out with a DEF bracket which is suppose to solve the vulnerable def injector issue. Sales ppl looked at me all weirdo because I was that guy under the jeep taking pics and video and not wanting any help lol.

http://youtu.be/z7cncbnhiAA

heres a pic for better reference. Look how much the harness is expose still. The injector is as well but not visible in this pic

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...psooygl7tg.jpg

Here is a view of no protection at all( use the big hole for reference to compare with picture above
http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...pstmwfayax.jpg

Heres the JeepEcoDieselfix protection plate. YOu can clearly see how much more protection there is..
http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps96tbdkjl.jpg

So, I feel this new OEM bracket will help out with some of the water forging and hitting puddles of water at high speed. Let me explain. I feel like the injector is the weak link here because at the smallest point of the injector, it's plastic. And when one charges water , the force of the water coming off the tire leverages itself off the frame between the harness In turn breaking it off at the injector. So yes this will help, SOMEWHAT. But are u kidding me Jeep? Why not go bigger and cover the whole damn thing? Why not just copy what I have ? Yeah the bracket takes care of some of the water issue. But what about road debris like tire strips and or whatever is laying on our hwy's. Let's not even talk about Murphy's law when talking about off roading lol.

I'm pretty convinced that who ever(@ fca) is in charge of design etc is just not that bright!! I mean you guys can clearly see that a lot of the harness is exposed let alone the injector itself. A branch or whatever sticking up can still tag the harness( outside of frame rail) and the injector ( inside the frame rail)

Are u guys willing to take that chance? I'm not obviously because I'm the maker of thejeepecodieselfix plate and I'm gonna swear mine is way better lol.

Looking at the bracket even more, for the 2014 and early 2015 that don't have the hole, if you went this route this new OEM bracket requires two holes to be drilled.

So now if you decide to use the jeepecodieselfix def protection plate, you will no longer need to drill into the frame because there is already mounting location in that location for the oem bracket jeep just added. YOu will just need to open up the rear pilot hole in the jeepecodieselfix plate and reuse the oem bolt. The Jeepecodieselfix protection plate can be installed in conjunction with the oem bracket now coming on some 2015's

As far as ordering process . When you guys order and get the paypal confirmation /transaction #. Then your good. Im not in the business to rip ppl off at all. Please allow 2-4 days for it to process and 7-10 days for shipping. More than likely not that long but i'm just trying to cover all my bases and allow my guys to not be so pressured.

The way i've been doing it , is as soon as some1 pays through the shopping cart and i receive notice. I then forward the information to the project manager i have in charge and he will generate a ups slip . Problem is Bryin is also a metal teacher at the local school so sometimes the schedule gets weird.(reason for 2-4 day processing)

Another thing i wanted to bring up, was please do not email me asking for tracking as that is ups' job. As soon as shipping slips are generated the ups system will automatically send the notice to the email we imputed into the computer which is from your verified paypal account. With that said , if for some reason you havent received one after a timely matter then go a head and email with the info and ill track it down for.

Last, all the plate from last batch has been pre pack and ready to go. Problem is i updated the instructions to be a little more thorough. ANYWAY, IF YOUR GOING TO ORDER, JUST DOWN LOAD THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF THE INSTRUCTIONS OF WWW.JEEPECODIESELFIX.COM.

This is to gauge interest on who wants to get one. Please start a list of names and copy and paste it to your post and add your name if u want 1 or 2 or 3.

Im actually giving the original prototype to my friend as she has an eco diesel as well. Im going to the shop again sometime this week so i can produce a better one even tho the original came out really well. Id just like to perfect it as much as possible. It will prob just get better as we order different batches. Sucks but thats the way it always is

As far as pricing im not even sure. Id like to get a finalized list of how many ppl will for sure want to commit to this so i can get us best pricing possible. But like i stated in other thread it really should be somewhere around $100-$200 im hoping. Im not tryn to make any money off this but i can not do it for free. The more time my guy spends on this the more it takes away from him producing my other products(different industries), which is what pays the bills.

Can someone copy and paste this threads link to the other DEF warning threads as well as pic and link of skid plate from other thread. I hav issues with tapatalk and not around a computer again

I will take one as well. Put me on the first batch order.

I counted up the names of people on the other threads and came out with 12 buyers who commented/committed to purchasing one each. If able to produce and sell for $100-$200($150 seems like a nice number?) I think the chances are good for a sell-through. Posting on some of the "other" forums is also a option to increase the sales numbers and decrease the costs.

Wanted to add a poll to this thread but since I did not start this one its not available option for me. Could forum moderator do it for me?

OK to get this party started, I browsed through this and the other thread and compiled a list of people who explicitly expressed interest in buying one.

If you want to purchase one of these protection plates, please copy and paste this list into your post and add your name to it! Dom wants us to keep a running tally of names. If you want more than one, please indicate the quantity you want.
