My Intake I ported.

I figured I'd share some pics of my intake manifold I did a while ago. I also polished the outside I fell short on time so it's only at 2000 grit it has to be buffed still.

I have done about 4 of them and i have new tools and techniques this was my first I am now able to reach the small area you see on this one that's down in the runners.

Injector bosses ground down so their is little air flow disturbance.

This was 1000 grit I got it to 2000 grit and also got some more of the rough areas down near where the fuel rails mounthttp://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...r/GEDC0801.jpg

LOL:lol: Too long it was my first one I can do the inside in 40 hours now. I won't ever do the outside again I'll send it out the time it took me I can have it polished cheaper.

OMG, that's AWESOME! I don't even have the guts to try something like that. Were did you get the spare intake from and do you still have one?

I took it off the truck for two week I could go without it. I was doing them for Dave at Fixer. He was giving me cores to work off of until I got tied up with the hood. I'll get back to them someday.
I now have all the proper tools and bits from Mondello so the process is much easier and faster.

Damn, never knew about this one. That thing looks awesome.

Too bad I won't be needing my manifold soon ;)

That looks great both inside and out. I know what you mean about smoothing the outside. Definitely worth it to pay someone else to do it.
