serious question for my SRT brothers??

1 Attachment(s)
What's a good asking price for my Jeep as it sits. 8200 miles...pristine.
Before you ask...I have $2700 in the hood and 2600 in the splitter and side splitters with paint etc. You've seen the pics or you can see my build thread in the wk2 showoff forum. Give me some opinions. What would you ask?
And before someone asks...I may have to sell for medical reasons. My son has to have leg surgery and it's in west palm fl. He will be there for surgery and recovery for 6-9 months. My wife will not be working that entire time. It's a huge financial committment....but worth it for my son.

Scott, don't really know what the US market is like, but i guess it would be worth more then the average SRT of the same mileage given the add ons.

I'll throw this out there............, we have 52,000 odd members, if we could try and get as many members as possible to throw in a few dollars, would that go some way in alleviating the financial pressures forthcoming. I would be more then happy to partake, you are afterall the founder of this forum and we are somewhat one big happy Jeep family.

Either way, i wish your fam all the best and hope for a speedy recovery for your son.

Guys and gals, what do we think of donating to Scott's cause.

I am sure we could get many of the members here to help out.

Be it to help your little boy, make your financial burden less or just so you can keep your beast, I will happily chip in.

You have created more than just a place to talk about Jeeps, you have created a worldwide Jeep community.

While you may not want to ask for help, I am sure many of us will offer you this in your time of need.

As a father of 3 kids, my best wishes are with you and your family for a successful result and speedy recovery of your little guy.

Please give us a paypal account to give you a donation

Best of luck with this. I'm in for $$ to help you out. This forum saved me thousands. It's the least I can do for a key player to its success.

Scott, im sorry to hear your boy has to have surgery. That sucks. But I really hope that all goes well for him and that he has a speedy recovery. hate to see the jeep go, but I do understand the need, so if you need it, I am game to donate. You Scott, have truly made a community on here and it should be the community that rises to help it's founder in time of need.

Wish you and your family the best!

-Jeff

Id say around 65k

Really sorry to hear about your son having to have surgery. Hope all goes well and things work out the way they should. I agree 100% with the above posts...anything I/we can do to help whether it be a donation..advice...or just an ear to talk to. For me and I am sure most others on here...it's about give and take... You never know what life is l gonna throw at you when you come up to that next corner...so it's somewhat of a relief to know that you've got a whole community to fall back on like a second family. Best of luck with everything

As a father I understand your son will always come before your car. I don't know that donations will be enough but i'm certainly willing to chip in and help. All the best for your family.

Scott you are the man. The highest big I got on my jeep with same mods as you was 63k. With you having a third of the miles I do I would say with the right buyer you could get 68+ if the buyer is educated on the mods you have.
