Thanks for the info on the custom number plate mounts.
Called Philip a few weeks ago and ordered a set for the GC.
Arrived in the mail and yep they are awesome......
Optioned them with the security screw heads.
The customer service was excellent! A skill that has gone by the wayside these days.
I also thought the same. I picked up some great quality Altrex perspex covers for my car.
I had to drill holes in the NSW Premium plates to fit the mounts on the rear of the car. I can see why some people would chose these quality mounts, but I would not spend the money just to avoid screws or drilling holes.
Drilling extra holes through the number plate, although illegal (never heard of that being policed) is OK. Dealers using tech screws through into the tail gate of your new pride and joy, not so much. Larkin covers are a quality solution and look Schmick with personalized number plates. Each to their own though.
No arguments about the price however, they are made by a small supplier in Australia who supports his product with pride. We see a lot of complaints about the lack of customer service or after sales support. Well if it's cost me a little more to support a company that is trying to supply a quality product and service then I'm happy to pay the extra.
Each to their own on what products they fit to their Jeep.
