Cracked 160,000km Today!
Still going strong as well, No problems, still drives like new. The Coopers have 90k on them now, about three quarters worn, and as noisy as ever, still on the original brake pads, kinda gave them a hard time last week at Wakefield Park doing a drive day....Jeeps can do anything! Probably not an ideal track car but its better than sitting around watching everyone have fun! The electronics and ABS etc wasn't having fun and was trying to stop mine at times.... Thought for sure it would be the end of the tyres, but after 40 or so laps they're still hanging in there, even balled up like a proper track tyre....
Thinking my next Jeep will be an SRT, should be able to drag it to most places I want to go, be great tow car as is my Hemi, and I'm sure just daily driving will make me smile!
We've got a two week trip planed for October, involving the NSW/VIC high country, and Phillip Island of course, so I'll have to make a decision on which tyres to go for, not Ltz's again, though they are good offroad, want something quieter.... hope its not to muddy down there then, can so see it, stuck on a little hill with clogged road tyres....No, I'll be positive it'll be fine.... And disc pads all round next service!
Hope everyone else is getting out there and having as much fun in their Jeeps as we are!

I was terrible, started out with a 1:26, and only got down to a 1:22.... I went out in my brothers maloo for a few laps, managed a 1:16 in that, probably get a little quicker with a few more laps. Not much of a race driver.... I bet the SRT would be a hoot on the track, still a big heavy car to stop and get around corners though, mines like a boat floating around the corners..... totally expected though, still good fun!

Just noticed you are based in Coffs. That's a fair drive for a track day.

Not a bad first attempt. I know many modified sports cars that have ended up with a best of 1:18 on the first track day.

The SRT should be good for 1:12's if I push it hard in the corners. Will have to see :)
