Australian Grand Cherokee MY14/15

Hi all,

Does anyone know what differences between the two models will be?
I'm considering an Overland, but should I wait???
Cheers

wont be any differences apart from a few extra pointless features on the Summit. Which dealer are you thinking of purchasing through ?

Either Brisbane dealer Cricks Mt Gravatt or Leo Muller Albion.

I had a good experience at Cricks Paul Fazldeen looked after me.

If you order now and it has to be built you will end up with a MY15. If they have what you want in stock you will get a MY14.

No real differences:

I haven't, but I saw a couple of GCs on Fraser Island when I was there a couple months ago. Mine arrived just a month late for that trip.

Spoke to Paul on Saturday, couldn't get him down to our budget limit... what's Leo Muller's at Albion like?

Albion will GENERALLY do what they have to, to get your business. Your probably better going through a car broker though. Brisbane Car consultants are quite good, just google them and give them a call. I'd be surprised if they couldn't get what you wanted for at least 2-3k less than what you've been quoted.
If your thinking of making a factory order you might have to wait a bit, given the end of the financial year I expect the dealers primary intent will to sell what they have on the lot, hence not be all that interested in negotiating prices for an ordered vehicle.

Going to hold out for a couple of weeks to see if there is any last minute deals... Albion were nowhere near Cricks price...

Did you give them a copy of your quote from Cricks' ? I guess Albion are meeting or exceeding their sales targets and just aren't interested in dealing much at the moment.....
I'd purchase from Cricks' if they were the cheapest. Did you end up contacting a car broker?

Yep, well prices did go up with the MY15, and there will be a big backlog of orders until production gets going and the Oz dealers start getting their deliveries. You might have to wait until the end of the year for stock to start catching up again.

If you can hold out another year, the WL will be out for 2016.
