I think they would look good painted...but the only problem with painting thee stock 17's.....is sometimes they look smaller

I agree with Scottina here. I wouldnt do it unless you got tires with less sidewall. The sidewall are too meaty and would make the wheels look very small.

Here is a better idea...

Just an FYI on how to do this:
Use the magnet. lasso tool to capture around the chrome of the rim
Once selected, go to images -> levels ->

A window will pop up, move the white slider towards the dark side to make chrome to dark

Use the black slider and move it to the white side, to make black into chrome

Might have to play with the contrast to make it just right, but you get the idea

I'd say research some black aftermarket wheels. There's tons to choose from and it's an investment well worth the aesthetic rewards in my opinion.

thanks for the ps jobs and opinions boys, but new rims is out of the question ( college lol)....i think ill paint them! =D

Ah, that'll do it. There's a guy on here who painted his along with red edges and center caps to match the paint. They look great! I'll post his name here if I can find him again.
