Should I paint my SRT Springs?
Ok so I just picked up a used set of stock SRT springs. My inital thought was to just install them as is. But i started thinking a little more and had the thought of painting them red to match my brake calipers.

If i paint them, will i have to use a special paint due to the constant flexing of the springs? I dont want to paint them if they are just going to chip and look bad down the road.

just thought id see what you guys think!

I think you could spend the money elsewhere and be happier... how many people do you have looking closely enough at your jeep to notice your springs are color matched to your calipers...?? But really, do what makes you happy.

Either way they will probably chip. Mine look horrible, but luckily you can't see them.

I saw paint them, just do it right. :)
