Vibration wheel shimmy TSB?

Just would like to know if any has had the following TSB donehttp://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_2200314.pdf

Have you noticed any improvement? I been back and forth to the dealer 3x regarding the vibration, and now I plan on showing them the TSB. :slapfight:

Does anyone think if I take the service bullion when I get my car serviced they will fix mine even though I have the 17 inch wheels? My GC steering wheel vibrates when I go over 65 mph and it has been doing it since I got the car about 9400 miles ago (since I got it new about 7 months ago).

OP here. I can tell you they did the TSB today replacing the hub and bearings, and the shimmy is 100% gone. It took a little pushing at the dealer, but ultimately they granted my request.

Same here. Back to the dealership 4 times for a RFB and I still get the steering wheel shimmy between 65-75 mph. This includes them doing a rotation and wheel alignment. Limited with 18" wheels. I'm going to call the dealer again and mention the TSB. So how does replacing the front hub and bearing assembly fix the shimmy?

I have this issue but I am a day past the date range. I wonder if I press enough If could get in on it?

Looks like this applies only to a small group of vehicles, however I've read the shimmy problem exists on many more.

Mine has a shimmy at those same speeds everyone has mentioned too, that just started showing back up after some time, yet mine came with the 17's as well...

Made sure twice that everything was road force balanced and passed, but it's still there. Not sure how to go about solving this one, but if it's still there after I get new wheels and tires eventually, I will be hounding them for the fix.

I say push to try and get it fixed at least, even if you aren't within the affected group they laid out.

I think they would still do it.

That's good to know. I noticed the shimmy with the 18's, but now it really shows with the replicas I put on. I thought the alignment was off and had the shop redo it since it was covered as part of their services, but it's still present between 60-70 MPH. I thought mine might not be covered due to the dates, but noticed it's from Jan. 19 2013 to Feb. 21 2014. Going to call them to see if they will add this to the list when they get the recall parts in and when they service my radio again.
