2 in. Rough Country Lift
I bought a 2 in. Rough Country lift back in October, hoping that my friend would put it on with me, but he went back to college and is super busy.

I would do it myself but don't have the time nor the know how at this point.
A local gas station/service center does do some work on Jeeps and are good guys, and this Saturday a mechanic is working who I know well and will give me a good price. Is it worth spending the money for them to put it on?

Re: 2 in. Rough Country Lift
Well you can and you can't.

One if you go with a mechanic he'll be responsible for whatever happens and you have to spend money.

Another if you do it yourself you'll save some money and you'll learn more about it!

Re: 2 in. Rough Country Lift
True. I think I'm gonna go and talk to him because the owners of the shop won't be there and he may even do it for like $100. He mounted and balances tires for me for free, so it's worth a try!

He's in DC. Not a bad drive to where you are Doug.

Re: 2 in. Rough Country Lift
lift install is easy, but if the shop can do it for 100, that's about what we'd ask for. to use the hydro lift at my buddy's house.

Re: 2 in. Rough Country Lift
Yeah I'm in potomac, Md.

I don't have school for the next week and want to get it done. That would be super awesome, if the gas station doesn't work out, if you could help me put it on!
