Shaved liftgate "window" switch

I used a sandpaper block (fine grit) and lightly sanded the "WINDOW" off of the switch.. it took five minutes and didn't cost a dime

Take your time and don't use much pressure at all.. it'll flake off. After I finished, I cleaned the switch and added product to it so it doesn't look faded.. the harder you apply pressure, the more likely the plastic will look faded over time.

I did this mod a long time ago, just by using it so often it wore off by itself! LOL

Good idea tho!

A little bit of paint thinner takes it off in about half the time too.:p

Haha good to know for next time.. I was behind a WK at the light and 'window' stuck out like a sore thumb so when I got home I decided to get rid of mine.

LOL, no. @ the campus parking lot. Sometimes I come back to see my rear window is up. So my guess is, some assholes were trying to **** with me by pressing the button

Dude you're hitting the button in your pocket I've done it before. Come back to my WK and the window is up in downtown SF thinking :wtf:

Unless you're not locking it, 10:1 you're hitting the button when you don't know it.
