Re: Steering Wheel controls

depends on the head unit and the interface you buy.

EX: i have the AVIC f90BT. i bought the PAC interface. i lose fade but I can get one more adapter to make the steering wheel stuff works. if I bought the metra interface then i keep fade but I lose steering wheel.

you need to know what you have now so you get the correct intrfaces. but to give you an idea. I wanted to use ALL the factory stuff, speakers, amp, steering wheel controls, antenna, sat antenna. i wanted sat radio too. I spent over 200 on interfaces alone.

so you need to know if you have the stock amp, do you want to use it? steering wheel controls, fender antenna, sat, gps, etc etc etc. then shop around for the interfaces.

matt may have more but biggest makers from my experience were metra and PAC Audio. i would start there.

Re: Steering Wheel controls

I have an alpine head unit from our old Jeep.
my goal is to keep all the factory stuff speakers, amp antenna ect.
and add iPod integration (its built into the alpine) and down the line a sub/amp combo
