JK now over 15k
Just a quick update, got my JK in Aug. 09, sitting at 15889 now.
I think something is wrong! I haven't had any problems Checked out some other "sites" and that's all I read..everyone complaining about shit going wrong w/wranglers. This ain't my first Jeep, been a motorhead all my life, and I have to say my JK is a keeper.
That being said, it took considerable time to learn the right way to drive it. If you try to drive it like a TJ or YJ you will fail! I've been wheelin' and done interstate too, mostly 2 lane secondary roads and this baby eats them up. Had a deer hit (light) on the left front and the plastic fenders held up. ( I was standing on the brake) The electronics kept my ass outa the ditch several times this winter on black ice.
The oil is changed every 3000 w/ synthetic and tire rotated every 5k. The dealer doesn't see my Jeep. I do think that the 3.8 runs dirty though. I've changed oil and looked at the dipstick the next day and it looks darker than the golden color that new oil should have. oh well.
All in all, I'm pleased with the new JK, it is like owning a multi-tool, you can do alot with it!

LOL...then it would never end! I'm trying to discipline myself on the mods, but a hemi isn't in the plans:mad:
