Help! 05 4.7V8. Cruise Control

Just bought an 05 JGC 4.7 V8 and the cruise control is not working. Could this be a fuse issue? What should I do? P.S. Everything else is perfect and I freakin love this thing! Help me out. Thanks!

the cruise module is on the drivers side right next to a fuse box. Its round and has hoses runing to it and one that runs to the TB. Just trace all the hoses and connections and make sure they are vsecure.

If the cruise light comes on, but it doesn't work, try looking at the TB. there should be 2 plastic retainers that hold the throttle cable and the cruise mechanism. Make sure they are intact. Furthermore make sure the cruise clip (if you look at the TB linkage, it'll be the right cable of the 2) is actually on the TB.

Re: Help! 05 4.7V8. Cruise Control

Everytime i have had CC issues it has been from a vacuum leak on that CC circuit. Mine kept coming from a vacuum line that went toward my CC module behind my passenger headligh assembly. I don't know if the WK 4.7 is the same way but a vac hose went to the headlight assembly itself "T'ing" off of the vac line going to the CC module (the round canister vacuum CC controller) That always was mine and once I had a ground strap melt throught a hard plastic VAC line on the passenger firewall in a section you cannot see.

do you have air blowing out of your vents? if the vaccum system fails it defaults to defroster. you will then have to find the leak and repair it. i had this happen on my old WJ
