it has good feedback.......

you might try to get an ebay id or 2 and send them an ebay message.....ask how its going. also try a google search on whatever identifies that one, you never know.

Well, you get what you pay for and IMO, why support chinese junk more than you have to?

I've seen some nice pioneer and kenwood units for only a couple/few hundred more and would be the way I'd go...Or, if really tight budget, find a used one that is in good shape and save a lot of $$$ and get a high end something or another for cheap. Rip-off products are one of my pet peeves, lol, and partially to blame for ebay (and the like) and the way it is now (compared to the good days of early--mid 00's). Not to mention, you'll probably end up having to buy another one anyway (either breaks or is just a POS), so there goes any savings...

Besides, the Grand Cherokee is a decent enough vehicle to deserve something nice :)

i didnt bother to philosophize john, only answer his question.

but you are correct in your suggestions. Last spring I bought a USED AVIC f90BT, about 1K new, for 425 delivered to my door.

Yeah, OP, I think you'd be best off saving up a little more and/or finding a smoking clearance sale or used unit. You'll be glad you did :) Sorry to sound like I was ranting, but that sort of junk pisses me off and hate to see you waste your $$$.

How about waiting for an oem nav unit? They're not as "high tech" as some of the newer stuff (talking about the one in my '05), but imagine they're realtively inexpensive now? I don't really even use my nav though, but glad it's there. Wouldn't mind a back-up camera for wheelin' though.

I have to tell you, i was considering one for my previous car. My neighbor has one from a different web site, it works really nice. But I felt 50/50 w it so I never bothered. None had every feature I needed and wanted. I cant remember the 'Brand' he bought, maybe magicmarker or something like that. I thought it looked good. He needed to get a card for the navi to work but he loves it.
