Debadged and Detailed the SRT at NX-1

well i took a ride over to New Jersey to drop her over to NX-1 today to get it detailed. joe was suppose to drop me off in manhattan after i got to NX-1 eventually:D but got tied up in the process. however he made it over to hang around and lend a hand, thanks bro- i had fun the entire stay at marios shop today, saw a pro in action, mario knows whats up and does things A+, where you an average person would say "eh you cant see that" nah.... mario sees that:thumbsup:no short cuts, a real pro at this.

my pics sucked, i was snapping pics half way thru just for whatev's and by the time i got out (9pm) it was dark and i had to go scoop my lady up from work. ill take more pics (finished detailed pictures) tomorrow though

Joe snapped some pretty decent pics of his car himself too...:D not bad robert palmer!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

joe will never have a dirty engine bay....very clean to say the least(in a good way though)keeps the entire whip clean.

on to the pics.

cheers-

thanks guys, im goin for a spin after work, so ill try and snap some good ones.

honestly- the SRT has NEVER been this clean before (interior/exterior)

the brilliant black paint just POPS out at you like whoa* and the inside... well, leather smell is understatement*

i bought the car on dec29th 2009- ive gotten her clean a bunch of times since acquiring my new SRT8 but with all the snow/winter/slush/salt --it never got really did up until last night.

i dunno why i waited this long to debadge her, soooo much better and pleasant to look at with out the jeeps cluttering the lines.

Thanks for the compliments Atilla! Glad you liked the final results.
We got a little scare just as I finished with a little bit of rain, thank God it was just a passing cloud.

This is what went into Atilla's detail yesterday...
1. Washed using the two bucket method and with a sheep wool mit.
2. Dried with Meguiar's Water Magnet Waffle Weave Towel (highly recommended).
3. Air dried all around and in all crevices to make sure no water runs once he was on the road.
4. Debadged the Jeep.
5. Clay bar the entire jeep, even thou it seemed it didn't need it, it did in some areas more than others.
6. Used the Gloss-It One Step Machine and the Cyclo.
7. Full Interior Detail (vacuum, windows, leather etc...) Joe thank for helping with that.
8. Waxed with Blackfire Midnight Sun.

Paint was initially checked with my halogens and fluorescent lighting, at the end was checked again.
Rims where meticulously cleaned inside and out, behind spokes and everywhere, I have no doubt they have never been that clean before.
Glass was cleaned with Stoner's Invisible Glass.

I'll post the pics tonight if I have a chance, I still haven't looked at them yet.

Ohh yeah, who was the funny guy that wrote "WASH ME" in the back of my jeep? I lol when I saw that last night as I was going home. It'll be nice and washed tonight, it was so dirty I didn't even drive it to work today, I took the 4Runner today .

Yup, it helps a lot. It's a 15x20, it was very easy to assemble, it has clear windows, removable sides and front and rear zippered doors. Now I can wash the cars even if it's raining out :).
