Running boards on my WK

I bought some running boards, not my favourite mod, but in my case I have young kids so this is a step in for them, plus I drive gravel roads now and then so this should protect the paint. They are also good for gaining access to the roof rack.

Here are some photos in case anyone is interested. $150 shipped off of ebay.

Looks nice, I bought my bars more for the kids too than anything. Just happens to make the jeep look awesome in the process! LOL

My grille has Cloud Rider inserts installed, I will take them off when the weather gets hot, for now the lower opening allows good airflow. There is a separate insert for the lower opening, but the engine gets pretty warm with that insert installed, great for winter, not so great for spring/fall. :)

I like the wheels too.

I realize running boards are not for everyone, I really debated on them, I even feared getting flamed by you guys for adding them, but at the price I got them for and the protection/utility they provide, I'm good with them. :)

I'm out of town right now, but I can post an "above shot" from the second floor of my house, that way the running boards are more visible.

Just kidding.. I figure if you're happy with it then all is good. In my opinion it doesn't look bad at all! (the wheels look great!)
