PSI's for wheels???

I have the SRT reps in goodyear forteras. I'm just wondering what PSI does everyone keep their wheels at?
Even for stocks, your input is appreciated....

Reps 36psi
stocks 34psi

i forget what it says on the door but when ever i check my pressure (not right away, let the wheels warm up) it usually says 40 all around

Re: PSI's for wheels???

I usually keep them just a little bit under the factory specs. I am always scared of hitting a pot hole with 20's...

Thanks fellas. I figured I should up the PSI on the reps cause I hear the tires squeal sometimes on turns.

Re: PSI's for wheels???

Yeah My friend puts his up 8 PSI's to longer the life of the tire he says. But you compromise performance. I think the lower profile tires need more than the stocks I guess....

Re: PSI's for wheels???

yes.....and how long since your alignments been checked? These Jeep are nototrious for wearing tires on the inside...especially the front drivers side tire. FYI

Re: PSI's for wheels???

Well I have to get the new tpms and have the tires re balanced and I'll get an alignment after I get the springs ans stuff in.
