Need help jeep wont start

ok so i got my new 4 gauge wiring kit today. i installed it all and now my jeep wont start. when i turn the turn the key it tries to start but i just get that annoying clicking sound. i jumped my battery with my friends car and and let it charge for a little bit. but it just does the same thing.

what do i do??

and another quick question, i got this wiring kit
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDe...?prodID=KLM-K4

now is there a fuse already inside the huse holder? and also i just cut the power wire then run each side both sides of the wire through the fuse holder?

Re: Need help jeep wont start

disconnect the 4 gauge wire from the battery and then try jumping it again. sounds like you have a constant draw on the battery from somrtheing

Yes, it comes with an 80 amp fuse.

Yes, cut some of the power wire to connect it to the battery, then run the fuse in line. Look at my install for pics.

matt.

everything is wired correctly i did the same thing as i did last time with the wiring kit. now the amp is only 300 watts, could this have something to do with it.

Also, DO NOT put the fuse in until you are 100% wired up to the amp and are ready to send power to the amp.

If the fuse isn't in, then nothing can be drawing on the battery.

Is the amp on when the car is off?

Also, you could just need a new battery. May as well not rule anything out.
