Gibson exhaust start-up, idle, slight rev for anyone interested

Had to use this clip as part of a "sustainable food" video for a class yesterday and thought I'd throw it on here for anyone interested.

Sounds good man, love the sound of those Hemis until the MDS turns on. :)

May I ask why you needed that for a food video tho?

Can anyone verify it is a straigh pipe coming out the back? All i see is "swept" exhaust listed, i dont like the swept look.

I am taking a class right now about sustainable design and Urban planning. The video was about the true cost of the way we consume food by shipping it all over the world to get to our Wal-Mart's, etc., then drive everywhere to get it, all the pesticides needed, and mono-cultur cropping ruining our soil, etc. etc. So that clip was a lead in to a time-remapped clip of me driving down our main highway in town and showing all the traffic. For the full video check it out here.... http://gogreener4.blogspot.com/2010/...stainable.html

My brother got him and I one for Christmas this year and I'm pretty sure he got it here at 4WD. They're great in my opinion and I know he's used his to pull a couple guys out with no problem.

Not sure what you are looking for, but there is a muffler just before the tip, it's kind of hard to see I'll try to take a picture better. I am thinking about taking it and one of the cats off and seeing how it sounds.

The illustrations that i see for the Gibson show it curving right, hence "side swept". Yours looks like its a straight exhaust tip back. Thats what im looking for. Like a pickup truck has the bent exhaust pointing to the side i dont want that, i want it straight back. Is your tip custom? Why would they call it side swept? can you post model you bought? Thanks

This is what I got from the Gibson site..."Part# 617403:
Swept Side; Single Exhaust Kit; Stainless; Exit Is Straight Out The Back; Incl. Muffler/Resonator/3 in. Pipes/4 in. Stainless Tip/Hangers/Clamps"

The muffler is angled vertically and the tip comes straight back and down off of that. I'm not sure what is meant by side step, by the tip is the one that comes with the Gibson kit and comes out and angled down towards the ground at about a 30 degree angle.
